CDLC is pleased to once again offer a discount to the RDA Toolkit through its affiliation with the NY 3Rs Association, Inc.
By participating in this group purchase, institutions will save 17%
on the price of the RDA Toolkit.
Instead of purchasing the Toolkit directly from ALA, you will be invoiced through the Capital District Library Council. The NY 3Rs group subscription runs from August 1, 2015 - July 31, 2016. Current subscribers of the RDA Toolkit may also choose to join in this statewide group purchase. Institutions that have already subscribed to the RDA Toolkit would continue their existing subscriptions until they expire, and then join the consortial subscription automatically.

DPLA reaches a new milestone of over 10 million records with the help of more than 87,000 items from digital collections across New York State!
The Capital District Library Council (CDLC), a member of the NY 3Rs Association, Inc., and Empire State Digital Network (ESDN) are pleased to announce that digital materials from New York institutions are now available in the Digital Public Library of America (DPLA).
During the past year, CDLC and NY Heritage have been collaborating with ESDN to facilitate the sharing of digital collections from member institutions to DPLA. In April, ESDN contributed a first batch of 87,000 metadata records from New York cultural heritage institutions to DPLA. Including more than 11,000 records from the following CDLC member's NY Heritage Collections!
